The Slightly Biased Apple Buyers Guide

imac_both.jpg

Any article that begins with “Apple is sexy” should definitely have some time in our spotlight. Mitch Wagner at InformationWeek has written an Apple buyers guide for people interested in Macs, iPhones, iPods and other products. I have to say, it’s a pretty complete guide. The iPhone information is split into two pages, and he even has a separate guide for .Mac.

The iPod guide explains the purpose of the different players and how to pick one that covers your needs. The same goes of course for the Mac guide, but it has a five pages which makes it substantially longer than the former. But is it biased?

Of course it is, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a great guide. Ask anyone that uses a Mac and you’ll most likely get a biased opinion. Ask a PC user and you get the same thing, except reversed. Now, this guy is an Apple fan, and he knows his way around these products. That’s what matters.

“There’s no sign the company is cooling down. The recent introduction of the iPhone, and a new generation of iPods, seems likely to keep Apple in the lead for innovation for a while to come.”
