Apple Event On September 5th Confirmed

ipodfamily.jpgThe until now almost-confirmed Apple event scheduled September 5th is now fully confirmed. Apple are now sending out invitations to the media for the event that will take place in San Francisco, 10 AM. Since this is supposed to be a bigtime event, we’ll probably see live blog coverage on MacWorld.com, as during the release of the new iMac.

Of course, we’ll also keep you updated about everything that goes on that day. But until then, all we can do is make our best wishes and guesses. What’s on the menu this time? Well, nothing is certain but blogs and Apple fans around the world have come to a few conclusions.

First of all we have the new iPods. A lot of rumors have been going around and it seems only natural that Apple will announce an updated line, perhaps Mac OS X-based. But we’ve been over this already in an earlier post and it’s something we pretty much expect to see. But what about surprises; will Apple make us go ‘wow’? From what we have heard, this is no small event.

Sources of MacDailyNews have reported that the new iPods will feature WiFi, or something like that, making it possible to buy songs from iTunes Music Store directly on the device. Not unlikely at all. They also say that we’ll be stunned by the new iPods capabilities. Definitely not unlikely.

When Wednesday morning comes, I’ll be holding my breath. A part of me is worried about getting disappointed, but since when did Apple start disappointing their fans? That’s highly unlikely to happen as long as Steve Jobs is on (the) board. Let’s just relax and look forward to this, shall we?
