Unlocked iPhones may be even more sought after than we think. Apparently so, because 17 years old George Hotz traded in his unlocked revolutionary phone for three more. Oh, I almost forgot; he also got a sports car for that single unlocked iPhone.

The car is a Nissan 350Z. Yeah, those are pretty indeed but who gives away a sports car to get an unlocked iPhone when you soon will be able to unlock yours for a few dollars? Either he’s an Apple fan of supernatural proportions, or he’s just plain stupid.

Stupid or not, Terry Daidone is his name and he’s the owner of CertiCell, a cell phone repair company. Now, if this is a PR stunt on his behalf, it’s a really expensive one that won’t last for long. But hey, remember what Einstein said. “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the the universe.”

On the other hand, who knows, maybe it was just pure love for the iPhone that persuaded him into this action.
