iPhone Bills Are Huge
Woho, the iPhone is on the news. Unfortunately, the iPhone is not really the star this time. The real spotlight is on AT&T and their seemingly never-ending paper bills. Blogger Justine Ezarik was so frustrated about this that she decided to broadcast herself on YouTube.
Authors at artechnica.com writes “while many of us have had smartphones for some time, we’ve never seen a bill like this.” One of their bills were a whopping 52 pages long, printed on both sides. That’s 104 pages of billing, right there. But why?
The reason for this seems to be that AT&T itemizes your data usage when you browse the internet using EDGE. They also insist on providing you with every small detail you will never need to know about. And by looking at the bill, one can notice that the only details that really change are the time and amount of data transferred.
Having piles of paper delivered to you isn’t really that big of a problem but it’s still unnecessary, and the paper could have been used more wisely. I wish Apple would’ve been their own service provider. Now that’s an idea for the future.
