Where are the Mac games, EA?

Microsoft is obviously not the only ones incapable of meeting deadlines. At WWDC in June, Electronic Arts CEO joined Steve Jobs on stage and promised us they would release some Mac gaming titles in the beginning of August. Now, what date is it?

I’m not a gamer but I know that many people use PCs just because they’re dominating the gaming market. We need games to convert them to Mac users and Electronic Arts is a perfect partner because their games are so popular. If only they could sit their asses down and get it done.

I like EA, I really do. They produce great games and I personally love the NHL-series. But what is the problem, really?

Electronic Arts has a revenue of $3 billion. That’s ten digits right there. They’ve also got, what is it, about 7 thousand employees worldwide. One would think that a multi billion dollar company could hit a deadline better than this or at least come out with a decent explanation, instead of a deafening silence.

But hey, you know what they say. Better late then never, right? Keep on working, EA, we’re looking forward to some kick-ass games this fall. (Though next time, please give us native ports…)
