I agree that firefox still has its issues, even under version 3. If you need an excellent, cross-platform, reference organizer though, Zotero is awesome and designed to run under Firefox, which is why I use FIrefox now. Zotero works better than Endnote, supports cite-white-you-write, syncs to a website AND to multiple computers across multiple platforms, AND IS FREE!

So if you are a researcher like myself, it is worth checking out, and for me is certainly worth Firefox!

i agree with mallard...
i am clueless to the reason why firefox just randomly crashes. (well at least it does on my mac!)
and it gets on my nerves so much!
...but i watch a lot of online streaming videos, and safari can't open many of them. so i switch between camino and safari (for its simplicity)

Absolutely, G. I love Firefox 3 and use it all day for development.

But I have to say I love Safari more. :)

Camino is the BEST browser in my opinion on the mac. I actually swap between it and safari.

What about Zipeg instead of Unarchiver, I find it to be faster and easier to use.

Camino is boring...
Try Shiira, Opera, or even Flock. These are the best...

I totally agree with you. Firefox is a highly overrated browser and I personally don't like using it. Camino is fast and has a much better and more Mac like design.

The extensions and it's popularity made me choose Firefox instead of Camino for this list. Great point there, absolutely worth mentioning.

Camino is much better than Firefox. Uses the same engine, so has the same compatabilty, but is sooo much faster, more stable and more mac-like.
Only disadvantage is the lack of support for extensions, however it has a built in ad-blocker and flashblock, so the most vital extensions are accounted for.
