Newsflash, Steve Jobs is a very influential business leader. According to USA today, he is the third most influential business leader in the world. We congratulate Steve to this awesome achievement, even though it doesn’t come as a shock to us Apple fans. Neither does it come as a shock that Bill Gates is at the top of the list.

Now, when people think Steve Jobs they often think about Apple. But that’s not everything Steve Jobs has done. He started out by creating Apple but was fired after a few years, after which he went on to other industries. He’s now back at Apple, and has made his mark in the movie business with Pixar Animation Studios and revolutionized the music business with iTunes Music Store.

We’re not going to argue about Bill Gates though. He’s a very influential person that has really changed the way we do business. He, as well as Steve, has brought technology into the 21st century. But Steve and Bill clearly have different point of views on the matter.

Bill Gates like the business perspective of IT. He has always focused a lot of his effort on business customers and making business easier and more efficient. Steve Jobs, on the other hand, is obsessed with user experience. Anyhow, these two people have both contributed an incredible amount to the world we live in today.

Instead of nagging about which one who should be on the top, let’s all be nice and agree that everyone on the list makes a difference in the world. And after all, that’s what matters.
