I’d like to say thank you to the huge Apple community, for showing interest in this site. I’m also seeing a lot of visitors at our newborn MyMacDesk. We get a lot of visitors but unfortunately few uploads. So come on and show us your Mac setups and screenshots. Upload a picture of yourself too if you’d like.

Anyhow, this blog needs more interactivity. Visitors come and go all day long but few people really interact with each other through comments. We want to change that so we installed a couple of new plugins…

First of all, we installed Gravatar. Gravatar lets you choose an avatar at their site which automatically appears in your comment in any blog that has the plugin. If, of course, you use the email address you provided Gravatar. Let’s add our avatars and make the blog a bit more colorful, shall we?

(Now, for some reason I get an error message when I’m adding my picture. But it’s a pretty widely used plugin so maybe it’s just me.)

We also added the Top Commentators widget to the sidebar. Take a look at the right and you’ll see it. The five top commentators will be on that list with a link to their website. Hopefully this will encourage more people to comment.
